LeEco (formerly known as Letv) finally entered in India with it’s two new Android-based smartphones, Le Max and Le1S.

LeEco has it’s ecosystem including content ecosystem, big screen ecosystem, mobile ecosystem, sports ecosystem, automobile ecosystem, internet financing ecosystem and the Internet & cloud ecosystem.
LeEco to replicate its renowned Ecosystem Model in India.
The LeEco Le Max has big 6.33-inch Display with WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixels, Sharp LCD & 464 ppi, 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 4GB of RAM, full metal unibody aluminum body and 3400 mAh battery with fast charging technology. The Le Max runs on Android 5.0 with eUI.
LeMax comes up with 4GB LPDD4 RAM with 64 GB Internal memory. The phone also has 6-piece lens 21 MP rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, Dual tone flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer). The front camera comes with 5MP camera with F2.0 aperture and wide angle lens.
LeEco Le Max First Impression
The phone is big really big, though we compare it with other 6+ inch smartphone, LeMax is relatively smaller than the others because of the thin bezel which makes the screen to body size ratio less than its competitor.
The LeMax full metal unibody aluminium body give the phone a premium look and full floating glass on front further improve the look. Le Max equipped with USB Type-C connector with fast charging facility.
The phone is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which is mated with 4GB of RAM. The company claimed that they rectify the heating problem that was associated with above processor. I used the phone for a very short period of time but it’s still performance wise phone is fast and appear to be lag free.
LeMax Camera outshines any other device in that price range. The 21MP shooter is fast and delivery crisp images even in low light. They’re using Sony IMX230 sensor with Dual Tone flash and built-in OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). On the front, they’re using MP camera with F2.0 aperture and wide angle lens. F/2.0 aperture allows more light inside hence clearer picture in low light. You can check out some pictures I captured at the event:
