DJI has just unveiled Mavic Air, an ultra-portable foldable drone that comes with more flying hours and intelligent features.
DJI Mavic Air can shoot videos at 4K, has new QuickShot modes and SmartCapture for easier, more intelligent photo and video capturing, and FlightAutonomy 2.0 with Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems for smarter, safer flight. The Mavic Air weighing just 430 grams and the size is similar to the smartphone when folded. So this makes the Mavic Air the most portable drone.
The Mavic Air camera comes with the three-axis mechanical gimbal for smoother video, 12 MP camera with 1/2.3” CMOS sensor and new HDR algorithms. It can shoot 4K video at 30 fps and 1080p video at 120 fps.
The Mavic Air is also the first drone to comes with inbuilt 8 GB storage, apart from micro SD card slot. It also has USB Type-C port.

Mavic Air will be available in three colors: Onyx Black, Arctic White and Flame Red. The US retail price including the drone, battery, remote controller, carrying case, two pairs of propeller guards and four pairs of propellers, is $799 USD. The Mavic Air Fly More Combo includes the drone, three batteries, a remote controller, a travel bag, two pairs of propeller guards, six pairs of propellers, a battery to power bank adapter and battery charging hub, for $999 USD.
