HTC Amaze 4G got rooted by xboared56 on XDA-Developers. He developed one-click root option to root HTC Amaze 4G. It takes less than 10 mins to get root access of your mobile. Its only permanent root if you have unlocked bootloader.

Steps to Root HTC Amaze 4G:

1. Click here to Download and install HTC drivers
2. Turn on USB debugging mode by going to Menu –> Settings –> Applications –> Development –> USB debugging
3. Connect phone to your computer via USB
4. Download Zerg Root one click Root tool
5. Extract files to C:\
6. Navigate into Zerg Rush folder
7. Click ZergRushTempRoot.bat
8. Wait for 3-5 min
9. Reboot your phone
10. Enjoy your phone with full root access
