How to Update Facebook Status from Gtalk

There are several methods available to post status on Facebook like mobile, mail, and browser. But now you are capable to update it from Gtalk. From the fbbot@bot.im you can able to update your Facebook wall status directly from your Gtalk same as you send chat message to your friend.

fbbot@bot.im is a imfied hosted IM bot and is associated with this application. Application is working with Facebook Graph APIs and using the fbgraph.php class.

Here are simple steps to update status from Gtalk:

1. Add fbbot@bot.im to you Gtalk.



2. Go and Install the Facebook App. Click here to install app.



3. As you got success. You can see the following code.



4. Send this code to Gtalk IM bot ( fbbot@bot.im ), same as you send message to your friend.
5. You’ll get confirmation message that “You are added. You can Start posting…“.



6. Now send message to bot. For example “Hello World“.



7. Hurrah! You sent message is now visible on your Facebook wall.
