- Download the OTA package (make sure, your download complete)
- Rename the downloaded file to update.zip
- Copy that file to the internal storage on your Nexus S
- Power Off your device
- Hold Volume up and power to reboot to the bootloader
- Use your volume key to navigate to recovery then use the power button to confirm
- You’ll see warning triangle and arrow, hold the power button and tap volume up.
- Select “apply update from /sdcard” and choose update.zip from the list.
- Wait till update complete, When finished, select “reboot system now”
