Amarok – The Best Music Player for Ubuntu

Amarok is the best music player available for Ubuntu. I tried many music player in Ubuntu but no music player gave me full functionality. At last after tried many application, finally I reached to Amarok and consider (in my opinion) as a best music player for Ubuntu.
About Amarok:
Amarok has many interactive features:
- Amarok can connect to various Web services like ‘Last.fm, Magnature, The Echo Nest Recommendations, Ampache, MP3tunes, Jamendo Service, OPML Podcast Directory and Librivox’ and access the music directly.
- Amarok comes with Dynamic Play-lists, now you can create play-lists that automatically update.
- Access the music related information with Plasma powered Context View.
- Drag and Drop songs in play-lists.
- Enjoy Amarok in 45 native languages.
- Organize you music collection with tagging, renaming.
- Sync your music play-lists from iTunes.
- You can play Audio CD and easily rip them to your play-lists.
- Amarok can track the music file when you moved the file from one folder to other.
How to Install Amarok?
1. Start by selecting Application and then Ubuntu Software Center.

2. Type the Amarok in search box and then click Install next to Amarok.
3. If prompted, enter your password to continue.

4. If installation succeeds, now launch Amarok by selecting Application → Sound & Video → Amarok.

Wait! Getting problem to run MP3 files, follow the two steps give below to run MP3 files.
1. Open Terminal and enter the commands to install “libxine-1-ffmpeg”.
2. After that enter below command to install Gstreamer.
