All Indian Students Will Get The Aakash Tablet For Free

Kapil Sibbal, Minister of Communication and IT has announced that that all Indian students will get free Aakash tablets. This is really great news for all Indian students who are waiting for this tablet from long time. He also said that Price of tablet will come down to Rs. 1500 from Rs. 2276 once the total orders go up to 1 Million from the current 1 Lakh.
The Ultra Low cost Aakash tablet has 366 MHz process running on Android 2.2. The tablet is built for Indian student and requires Wi-Fi access for data connection.
For those who’re planning to buy this tablet, I recommend you to wait for Aakash 2(UbiSlate 7+), the successor to the Aakash tablet, as Aakash 2 is must faster and comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
