Recently, A website Analysis tool was released called WooRank, which looking very powerful and evaluates websites based on 50 different criteria. It helps webmaster to check their website on different parameter and make their website SEO friendliness.

We rank the website on the basis of Google PageRank, Alexa rank and traffic. So why not add we can also add WooRank in the list.

Shorten the Title

Make sure that your blog title contains between 10 to 70 characters (include spaces) and also ensure that each page has a unique title. Make sure your blog title is explicit enough and relative to your page contents.

Meta Description

The Meta description provides an opportunity to influence how your Web page is described in the search results. Google allows the Meta description of 160 characters. So make sure that your blog meta description is between 70 to 160 characters.

ALT text for images

Recheck your images list and check whether the ALT attributes is written for the images. Don’t ignore images as they also help to bring some traffic from search engines.

Avoid Frames and Flash

Frames can cause problems for search engines because they don’t correspond to the conceptual model of the web. So Avoid them as far as possible. Similarly Flash content cannot indexed by search engines, although flash content often looks nicer but we have to optimize over site to SEO-friendliness.

WWW resolve

Search Engine consider http://razzil.com and http://www.razzil.com as two different websites. So your websites must resolves www and non-www on the same URL.

Directory Submission

Submit your website to DMOZ and yahoo directory. As WooRank search your URL in these two directories.

Social Media

Submit your Blog Post to Digg, Delicious, twitter and Wikipedia. As more as you submit the link to these social media, the more ranking you get.

SEO Check

Add robots, sitemap and favicon to your website, as they help search engine to analysis your blog.
