I wont go to the extent whether it is good or bad. I would say "Why?" Why would I store my documents online? It is ridiculous. Which is cheaper? Hard disk or Internet bandwidth? Obviously hard disks. Today TBs of harddisks are available at low prices then why would I spend on internet bandwidth. Secondly, wat about high definition multimedia. Considering the speeds that I get in India, streaming of such content is next to impossible. Thirdly, suppose I suspect a phishing attempt, I can do nothing about it if my files are stored in the cloud. Whereas, if I have a local storage, once I remove the network cable, I can say with guarantee that my data is safe. These are my concerns with cloud computing.
